Computer Science Department Web Server

The web pages on WWW.CS.Trinity.Edu are dynamically created by an experimental system, j-web, written by John Howland using the freely available J programming language. j-web dynamically creates web pages from a code/content/style database.

This web server runs version 2.0.52 of the APACHE web server on a quad Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.40GHz running on a modified version of Fedora Core 3 which is connected to the Internet by a 45MB Time Warner DS-3 connection. The server currently serves about one million requests per month, about 2/3 of which come from outside the Trinity.Edu domain.
