As these pictures demonstrate, traveling is very important to me. I have been to Canada, Mexico and almost every state except some in the northeast. Although I haven't been out of North America, I have enjoyed many many wonderful sites. Almost every summer my family takes some sort of vacation. Many of them include visiting National Parks, and my favorite ones are those that include the beach or camping. Here is a variety of pictures that highlight the vacations I have been on. Some are family vacations and some were taken with friends. |

My senior year, our track 4x800 team and mile girls were good enough to go Texas Relays at Austin and get a respectable place. It was really fun trip and it marked a team and individual accomplishment. |

Spring of my senior year the school band took a trip to Florida. This is a picture of some of my friends and I sitting outside the gates of Disney World. |

This is one of the plantation houses we visited in New Orleans. It was a beautiful house right on the River. The mix of elegance and Cajun flair really made an impression on me. |

This is from one of our family vacations to Florida. We love mixing road trips and the beach. Some of my fondest childhood memories are eating salty pizza or Burger King chicken fingers on the beach. Another one of my favorite trips was our road trip up the coast of California and Oregon. We camped on the beach and woke up at 6a.m. to beach comb for sand dollars. |

Our most recent vacation was a road trip from Glacier National Park into Canada and back to the United States by a flight into Seattle. My brother and I got to see the same glaciers my parents saw twenty years ago when they were much bigger. We also got the chance to walk on an ice field. Although I only stepped a few feet onto it, my brother wandered pretty far out. |
