My Music

The Beatles: The Beatles are one of my all-time favorite bands. Their music transcends so many boundaries it's crazy how much ground they covered. I grew listening to Beatle music all my life(thanks mom and dad), but only recently have I truly gained an appreciation and developed my own identity with their music.
Suggested Listening: Revolver, Hard Days Night, and SGT. Peppers( although I love all their albums) Here's a great Lyrics Site
Bob Dylan: The
epitome of good writing overcoming any obstacles in the mind or soul. Bob's
music tells many stories that relate to any facet of the listener's life. What
makes Bob so cool beyond his writing prowess is his schrewd protection of his
private life, not many things are or were known about him which keeps his legend
as large as ever.
Suggested Listening: Bringing it all back home, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde.

George Harrison: I can safely call my admiration for George Harrison an inheritance from my Mom. Her cd collection really opened my eyes and ears to this illustrious work. Any avid Beatle fan can listen to George's music and truly feel his message of optimism and spiritual longing in very simple yet beautifuly written songs. He's my favorite Beatle, and his work by alone is timeless.
Suggested Listening: All things must pass, Brainwahsed, and Concert for Bangladesh.
The Who: My Favorite band of all time. Their
music can either drive you to tears or rile you up with reckless abandon. I can
listen to their albums everyday and it still sounds as fresh and exciting as the
first time I listend to them. In my opinion very underrated...
Suggested Listening: Who's Next, Tommy, and Live at Leeds.

Bob Marley: In my vast foray into music, I came across Bob Marleyand never looked back. His music is meant to empower the poor and inspire people to fight for justice in our world. His music not only drives me to get involved but it is juxtaposed with hypnotic island beats and soundswhich make his music universal.
Suggested Listening: Natural Mystic and Legend.
