Class Activities

  1. Make sure that Assignment 02 is submitted before the beginning of class. Be prepared to take notes & ask questions during the presentation of out guest speaker, Joe Hatch.
  2. TLearn - bookmark on your computer and in Tiger's Lair.
    1. Enter information into the Class Roster database. This needs to be complete by the end of the class. It will be used to link the each students' blog to complete the homework.

  5. Notes - Make sure to have your speaker notes with you in class next week. We will use them to start our class wiki.

Hands-on Assignments

Assignments may be started in class, but finished and submitted by the due date. No late assignments will be accepted.

Assignment 03: Scavenger Hunt
Due Date: Tuesday, September 09, 2008 before class.
  1. Login to TLearn.
  2. Click on the link for the class roster.
  3. Click on the View List tab.
  4. Click on the My Blog link for each student.
  5. While reading the student blogs, look for the answers to the secret fact for each student. Leave a comment on at least two blogs. While reading, use the printed PDF of the questions to record your answers.

  6. After you have all the answers, submit the form with your answers and the URLs for the blogs that you left a comment.
