Field Trip to CLT

We will be starting digital imaging and Photoshop after Spring Break. Today we will pay a visit to the first floor of the Library. The AT&T Center for Learning and Technology is located there. Check out the resources, including computers, scanners, and others, including the following:

Studios@CLT - an open area with high-end Windows and Macintosh workstations, color and black-and-white laser printers, scanners, audio and video digitizing capability, and a range of multimedia authoring and editing software.

Digital Audio Lab - A private room where students and faculty can record, digitize and/or manipulate audio materials and incorporate them into presentations and projects. Equipment includes a high-end Windows workstation, a synthesizer, digital audio importing and editing hardware, access to a number of audio sources providing both digital and analog import capability, and sound editing software.

Media Presentation Lab (101Q) - A room equipped with computer and video projection facilities that can accommodate up to 15 people for viewing and evaluating presentations developed in the Studios.

Video Conference Center - A room equipped with satellite down-link and Polycom two-way video conference facilities. This room will accommodate thirty-two people.

Innovation Studio - An area designed for training of faculty and staff in course management software such as TLEARN and Blackboard, as well as other multimedia software packages.
