I was born in Quito, Ecuador. I am really proud of my country, culture, language, and who I am. It is a small country in South America, it is surrounded by Peru in the south and Colombia in the north. It has a population of around 13 million people, and its main economical sources are the export of petroleum, roses, and bananas. Ecuador was occupied by the Incas and later was colonized by the Spaniards, that is why nowadays Ecuador ethnicity is a combination of both races. Overwhelmed by different problems relating poverty and corruption, Ecuador is a third world country which is struggling to advance for a better future.
