CS1321 Homework 4 Tests¹

The purposes of homework 4 included:

1.

defining classes and

2.

using the linked list class.

Unfortunately, our ability to test these purposes is mainly limited to testing code for correctness. Thus, we tried a series of test cases.

The test programs we used included:

• test_constructors.cc
• test_empty.cc
• test_length.cc
• test_get.cc
• test_replace.cc
• test_output.cc
• test_plus.cc
• test_plusequals.cc
• test_relationals.cc
• test_append.cc
• test_find.cc
• test_insert.cc

Other programs include:

• script used to automatically perform the tests
• sample output
• tricky print function to print the list even if lstring's << fails
• seq.h linked list
• seq.cc linked list
