Hi! Welcome to my page, my name is Katherine Goldsberry.
This Web Site was created for my computer skills class at Trinity University. I am a freshmen this year at Trinity, originally from Norman, Oklahoma. I love to knit, but I only know how to straight knit scarves because I haven’t learned any patterns yet. Playing indoor volleyball is also a passion of mine even though I am not on the team here at Trinity. I played in middle school and high school and I really miss playing competitively this year, but I wanted to focus more on my studies. Outdoor volleyball is fun too, but it is completely different than playing indoors. There are weather elements to consider as well as not being able to roll as easily, and of course, sand, which I manage to get everywhere when I play sand volleyball (hence the name).
As of yet, I am unsure of which major to graduate with which means I am taking a bunch of classes in different areas to try and figure out an area to stick with. Art is an area I am interested in right now. I love to try new mediums (clay, paint, metal, photography, collage, ect.), but the one medium I cannot stand is watercolors! Another area I am interested in is English. I love to read and write though I must admit, studying verb tenses is not my favorite thing to do. The only book I have ever hated is Beowulf, but I loved John Gardner’s adaptation Grendel. If I were ever to write a book it would probably fall under the genre of Science Fiction or Fantasy. My favorite book is Abarat by Clive Barker. Other writers I like are Tamora Pierce, Scott Westerfield, and Amelia Atwater Rhodes.
