Bring blank seating charts to class. Bring post it notes for information for scavenger hunt.
(TA should create 2scavenge folders and put them in student folders in group folder. TA creates seating chart with blog links. Blank seating charts)

Objective:
-Be able to access your shared folder in \\tucc-tiger\Groups\ComputerSkills\Semmes\

-Be able to make a shortcut to a folder.
-Be able to make a shortcut to a web page

Choose your computer for the semester at the beginning of class

Fill in sticky note with information for scavenger hunt (what differentiates you from other students - not a sport)

Groups Folder - Folder for your homework

Create shortcut to your Groups folder.

The shortcut to the Groups folder will by in your Y drive with the shortcut you made to the class web page.

Shortcuts - A shortcut is a quick way to open a folder or start a frequently used program

Changing Icons of Shortcuts:

May not work on lab computers
Right Click on Shortcut>Properties>Shortcut Tab>Change Icon?>Choose what you like

  1. Create a Shortcut in your Y: drive to the Class Folder

  2. Use your shortcuts to copy the 2practice folder from the Class folder to the Groups folder
    Open file in 2practice folder. Read and Head.

air up and critique each others' blogs. Look at the introductory entry as if you are a professional person such as a professor or employer looking for an intern or new employee to hire. Discuss changes that need to be made to both blogs (edit text, change language, add elements, etc).
