Comment on Save As HTML file. See link from Mrs. Belisle's home page from 1st
class to a Word document.

Copy 10spread from class folder to groups folder.
Open file etiquette.doc in Word extras
folder and look at the example with the .pdf file type. Follow the
directions below.
- Insert a header with your full name,
computer #, and class time.
- Format Heading (18 pt. bold) and center - use
format painter to format sub-headings (14 pt. bold, font of your choice)
- Use the find and replace feature to
replace XYZ Company by Trinity University throughout the
document. Also, replace the word client with the word
student.
- Make a drop cap at the beginning of the
first paragraph..
- Use the Autocorrect feature to
insert the paperclip.gif at the beginning of each section.
- Use the spell check feature to correct
any spelling errors.
- Cal State Fullerton has information about
telephone etiquette on its website. Use a search engine to find the website,
copy a sentence from the site and cite the source in an endnote.
Use citation machine to create the citations in MLA or APA style (see
link in class notes). Copy and paste the citations into the document.

Add a sentence with information obtained from this
site and cite it in an endnote.
- Save (Your file will be in the Word

Open mail.doc in Mail extras folder.
- Take a screen shot that shows you have set up a folder for your computer
skills emails from Dr. Semmes
- Take a screen shot or shots that shows how to see a map to someone's
address that is in your contacts list.
- Take a screen shot that shows how to find someone at Trinity's email
address if you know the first or last name.
- Take a screen shot that shows where you would go to get started making a
rule.
