Open the folder

To publish: Save As: ... look for file type that says Web page ... it will show extension .htm. or .html

The web address of the powerpoint will be http://www.cs.trinity.edu/~psemmes/football/qb.htm

Note: You must have capital letters if you used them. What you type in must be exact.

Inserting pictures into Slide Presentations
PowerPoint works a lot like Word. Once the picture is on the slide, it doesn't matter where it came from. (It is embedded in the file.) You can copy and paste a picture to your presentation. However, you should be sure that you see the picture and not a link to a website with the picture. You can use the Insert >> Picture from file to insert a picture that you already have saved.

  • Surf to picture on the Internet
    • right-click on button
    • save picture  (browse to desktop, you can always move the picture later, if desired)
• How to insert downloaded picture to slide
  • Insert=>Picture=>from file

Homework:
In your 17links folder, make a folder named bad. Your task is to make a really bad Power Point presentation about how to give a really bad PowerPoint presentation. The presentation should be so bad that it's good. Your presentation must NOT exceed 90 seconds.
You should read the chapters in the text on PowerPoint.
