Ronald Prather
Professor Emeritus


With B.S., M.S., and M.A. degrees from the University of California at Berkeley, Ronald E. Prather received his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Syracuse University. He is the author of a half-dozen textbooks and numerous technical articles spanning the range of computer science. He has been a member of the faculty at the University of Vermont, the University of Denver, and Syracuse University. From 1986 to 1999 he held the chair of Caruth Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at Trinity University, where upon retirement, he continued teaching as Professor Emeritus until 2002.
