Tutorial:
Install Visual Studio 6
(Visual C++, FoxPro, Visual
Basic, etc.)

Although I completely uninstalled Visual Studio and rebooted the computer before preparing this tutorial, there is a chance that the re-install screens might be slightly different. These are screen captures and comments from my install. It will be very close, if not identical to yours.
1] Map the Tucc-Tiger drive: [If Installing From CD, Skip To Step 7]
a] Right Mouse Click on Neighborhood Places and select Map Network Drive (See Below!)

b] Drive : Whatever
comes up as a drive letter is OK
Folder : \\Tucc-Tiger\Public\Tigernet
c] Using the mouse, push the Finish Button (See Below!)

2] At this point you should be able to see the application folder. The Readme.txt file has the keys to the software installs when necessary. (See Below!)

3] Inside the Readme.txt
file you will find something similar to the following: [Look at the file!]
The VStudio60 folder contains Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 Professional Edition, it requires the
following key: 325-500XXXX.
The Vj60 folder contains Microsoft Visual J++ 6.0, it requires the following key:
325-508XXXX.
4] Using the mouse, double click on folder VStudio60 (See Below!)

5] Using the mouse, double click on folder Disk1 (See Below!)

6] Using the mouse, double click on SETUP.EXE (See Below!)

7] Select Workstation Tools and Components. Using the mouse, select the Next button. (See Below!)

8] Short Wait! (See Below!)

9] Using the mouse, push/select the Next Button. (See Below!)

10] Read the license. Select Accept if you do not wish to quit. Using the mouse, push/select the Next Button. (See Below!)

11] Enter the proper sequence as designated by the Readme.txt file. Enter your name and company if you like. Using the mouse, push/select the Next Button. (See Below!)

12] Select Install Visual Studio 6.0 Professional Edition. Using the mouse, push/select the Next Button. (See Below!)

13] Select a different folder if you like; I do not! Using the mouse, push/select the Next Button.(See Below!)

14] Another Short Wait (See Below!)

15] Using the mouse, push/select the Continue Button. (See Below!)

16] Using the mouse, push/select the OK Button. (See Below!)

17] Using the mouse, push/select the Custom Button. (See Below!)

18] Using the mouse, push/select the Select All Button. (See Below!)

19] Using the mouse, push/select the Continue Button.

20] Using the mouse, push/select the OK Button. (See Below!)

21] Long Wait (See Below!)

You may also include the Visual J to Visual Studio. The install Setup.exe is in the VJ60 folder and the Installation Key is in the Readme.txt file.
