![]() The Leader in Adult
Higher Education With over 61,000 currently enrolled students, the University of Phoenix is America's largest private accredited university for working adults. We have provided Degree Programs and Certificate Programs to more than 485,000 working professionals in the United States, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, British Columbia, and dozens of foreign countries.
Scheduled for Working Professionals We have made accommodations to the daily demands of a working adult's schedule with absolutely no compromise of our educational integrity. Courses are made available at suitable times and places, generally meeting after hours at locations in or near the workplace. Students take one course each five to eight week period because research shows that adults learn best in an atmosphere of concentrated immersion. The program runs through the calendar year, allowing students to start at their convenience. Students register and pay tuition at the first class of each course, and course materials, including texts and readings, can be delivered in advance. All students are provided library services through the Learning Resource Center.
