Organizing Your Explorations

Along with writing a fractal story you also need to do some research.  You need to explore the different types of fractals and find natural fractals and computer generated fractals and their mathematical importance.

This can be done (and is highly suggested) by making a database.  The database must include:

1. Name of the fractal

2. Who created the fractal

3. If it is a natural fractal or computer generated

4. The mathematical formula for the fractal when possible

5. The source where you found the fractal (website, etc.)
