[CS3190unix-list] homework 4

There's now a Homework 4 on the Web, linked from the course "lecture
topics and assignments" page.  It's due a week from Monday.

And a couple of general hints and tips, in response to comments from
students:

If you don't like reading things online, you can always print
out the parts of a document you want to read.  (It wouldn't be
environmentally conscientious to print out the whole of some of
the documents I'm assigning readings in, but you should be able to
print selected pages.  If you're having trouble, feel free to ask
for tips/help.)

If you find yourself spending more hours on the homework than
you care to and getting frustrated, please don't hesitate to
ask for help.  There's a lot of information available online --
"man" and "info" pages, online references guides, and Google --
but sometimes the best source of information is a local expert.
